So one
night I was searching through google for a fairly priced, online clothing store
that had free/low cost shipping. I came across Romwe. The clothes were great
priced and most looked like things I would wear. Before purchasing anything, I did
an online review check to see what other had thought. It was 50/50. I decided
to take a risk. I got my first parcel about 3 weeks after ordering it and was
so happy with it; I went home and ordered 3 more items. Today I will show you
what I got. This is not a sponsored post, simply just a personal opinion.

Room Tour!
Finally I have
sat down to write a room tour. Since I was moving into a completely different
room, I thought I’d actually have a theme. I didn’t want something crazy and I’m
not too keen on colours so that’s why I decided on this black and white theme. It’s
simple and still looks great. It was very easy to find things as almost
everything is always made in black and/or white. Let’s get into it!
I actually
bought an entirely new bedframe before moving in-and I love it! It is quite low
to the ground which I don’t mind and I love that the headboard is soft leather,
because I am very clumsy and was bound to hit my head eventually. The bedspread
I chose kind of reminds me of a New Zealand (my home country) and that’s mostly
the major reason why I purchased it. I also still have my breaking bad pillow
despite it not going with my theme but I love it and it couldn’t miss out.
The
Wardrobe.
In my old
room, I had an external wardrobe which was quite small and I kept most of my
clothes on my ground (simply due to there being no room). In my new room, I have
an inner wardrobe that is quite huge! I love that I have room for all my
clothes and enough room for more shopping! Totally kidding-I need to stop
buying things. I am currently putting my shoes on floor but they do take up
most of the room. I also think I have too many converse. Oops.
Bedside
Table & Top of Bedframe.
Surprisingly,
I bought both these and completely separate times, yet they go together
exactly. I love the clock on my bedside table and feel it goes well with my
lamp, which you can’t see because I have a beanie on it. On my bedframe I keep
my whiteboard where I usually write what homework I should be doing. I also
have an @ sign to signify my love for internet/technology.
Storage
Cubes & Stereo.
These
storage cubes + the frame were a Christmas present from my parents. I love that
they make my room look neat yet have so much room for nick knacks. I only keep
CD’s, pyjamas and my “undergarments” in these. I think my stereo looks neat on
top and still fits with the theme.
Desk.
My desk is
usually insanely messy so for me to neaten it up slightly just to take a photo
is a great effort on my behalf. This is where I usually spend every minute that
I’m home. I also keep most of my DVD’s on top as they just look presentable
and, oh once again, neat.
Poster.
I didn’t want
any posters up in my new room as I think they look messy but this one was a
perk for donating to Project For Awesome and I couldn’t resist hanging it up. I
can’t wait for the movie to come out.
Well yeah, that’s
my room, maybe it might’ve given inspiration for you room or maybe you’re juts
nosey (like me) and wanted to see.
Have a good
week!

Chicken Soup Recipe!
Yesterday I
was absolutely craving soup; unfortunately we didn’t have any packets mixes that
were nice so I thought I’d make my own. I’m not very good at cooking, in fact, I
am terrible so obviously I had to find a very simple recipe and hope for the
best.
I didn’t have
all the ingredients so I kind of had to chop and change. This is the result.
Ingredients:
·
1
Cup Pasta pieces
· 1 Litre Chicken Stock
· All Purpose Seasoning
· 1 Can Chickpeas
· 1 Medium Onion
· 1 Carrot
· 1 Onion Soup mix (can be any soup mix)
· Chicken Pieces
· Garlic Clove
· Salt and Pepper
· Oil
· 1 Litre Chicken Stock
· All Purpose Seasoning
· 1 Can Chickpeas
· 1 Medium Onion
· 1 Carrot
· 1 Onion Soup mix (can be any soup mix)
· Chicken Pieces
· Garlic Clove
· Salt and Pepper
· Oil
Method:
1. Chop
onion and carrot into pieces, note: they can’t be too small.
2. Heat pan with oil and fry off onion and garlic until onion is transparent.
3. Get out large pot and fill with chicken stock, I used the entire carton as I was making a lot.
4. Add in the seasoning and leave on a medium heat until steamy, continuing to stir.
5. Boil water and make onion soup as specified on directions.
6. Once the stock mixture is hot, add chickpeas, carrots, garlic and onion.
7. In another pot, bring water to boil and add pasta.
8. Cook stock until carrots are tender, I took my pot off the heat just before the carrots were tender so they had a little crunch.
9.
Add
in cooked and drained pasta, soup mix and salt and pepper.
Your soup should resemble something like this. I know that it doesn’t look good at all but it is simply scrumptious! I hope you do enjoy.

Crazy Hair Day!
This
weekend is World’s Greatest Shave weekend. In case you didn’t know what that
is, it’s a campaign to raise money for people with Leukaemia and their
families. It is a huge foundation that supports so many people every year.
It is
something that is very close to my heart, having shaved my hair in 2012. This
year, my school decided to do something in support of this wonderful campaign.
So that’s how, today ended up being crazy hair day!
I was quite
disappointed to see that not a lot of people had got into the spirit and didn’t
have their hair crazy.
Despite
this, I decided to incorporate my love for food into my hair and this was the
result:
Have a
lovely weekend!

Happiness is Healthy.
This week
has dragged on for too long. Despite it only being Thursday night, I had some
things to say. This was basically my week: (moral of the story at the end)
Monday:
There were far too many assignments due. You know when all your teachers gang
up on you and decide that this’ll be the day and literally EVERYTHING is due? Yeah?
That was Monday.
Tuesday:
the worst day of my year. I’m very insecure, and I had confrontation. Despite this,
a very popular boy in my class called my friends and I “nerds” and even though
it isn’t exactly an insult (at least not a creative one), I was very offended. See
this boy in the past has made me feel uncomfortable and as if I don’t belong,
which isn’t a nice feeling at all.
Wednesday:
a fight between my friends. Apparently I was in the middle but I’m still not
sure what I did.
And of
course, Thursday: finally. A good day. My friends and I ate cake and made a
huge mess, I went to a job interview and got it! (woo!)
And now we’re
here. Someone pointed out to me that all my problems could be (slightly?)
resolved if I just didn’t care, if I ignored people who didn’t matter and
focused on my happiness. And that is exactly what I plan to do. I know it’ll be
hard because it’s true, I do care far too much. But I’m willing to try, and
that makes me happy.
I’ll leave
you with this, the wise words of Dan Howell, and something I think about often:
(P.S.
within reason and as long as it doesn’t endanger yourself and/or anyone else)

The Sky is so Blue, and You Guys'll be There Too
Hello, so
today I was sitting at home watching friends (wow what’s new there) when out of
the corner of my eye I noticed the sunset. I’ve told you before how insane I get
about the sky and this was no different. I freaked out and grabbed my camera and
took so many shots. Once I had taken what I thought was enough I put my camera
and went back to friends. Not 2 minutes later the sunset how completely changed
and looked so great. I took a lot of shots and want to show you. (Do I have a
sky fetish? Like a foot fetish? –I honestly don’t understand how people can
like feet so much, personally I find them so disgusting. If you have ever
watched a Quentin Tarantino film, you would have, you’ll know what I’m talking
about)
Have a good
week/day/night.

Life Updates-March 2014
Hello all!
A couple of life
updates...
- I’m back at school. It physically and mentally drains me every day and although it isn’t hard work I’ve been getting very stressed lately.
- I’ve been having quite a few panic attacks this year which I absolutely hate as I’ve never had them in the past.
- Boy vice-captain asked me to formal. He’s very shy and I am the first girl he has ever asked out (at least I’m fairly sure) so I said yes, I don’t like him but he’s very nice so that’s sorted.
- This super cute boy keeps poking me on Facebook and I really want him to message me.
- Puberty Blues comes back on tonight and I’m very excited.
- I started watch My Mad Fat Diary and it is so great I love it.
- I have been trying really hard to come out of my shell this year. I almost always greet everyone in my grade when I walk past them.
- I have been buying far too many clothes online (but I love it)
my new house is so pretty. |
That’s all
from me. Just felt like doing a little update post. I have a couple of ideas up
my sleeve for future posts.
