Matte Liquid Lipsticks | Brand Comparisons

Matte Liquid Lipsticks were huge in 2015. It feels as though every brand you could think of brought some out. Huge brands such as; Colourpop, ABH, Jeffree Star and Stila to name a through, have released their individual matte liquid lipsticks.

For the last couple of months, I have been collecting a bunch of different brands of matte liquid lipsticks to try and review for you! These are just a few, however; I know this is going to be a long post. Hope you enjoy! PS: I don't like to wear face makeup when doing lip swatches, as I find it difficult to remove-sorry for the ugly!

Overall, my favourites were from either LA Girl or Colourpop. I love matte liquid lipsticks and I am excited to see more brands come out with them.

Welcome 2016

Hey guys and welcome to 2016!

I feel as though the last went crazy fast, however; I felt that the year before too.

I am excited for this year and thought I’d talk about what I’m hoping to achieve this year. Here are some of my goals:

·         Spread more positivity. I want to truly show appreciation to my friends and family who support and love me.

·         Save more money, spending heaps on clothes that don’t even fit isn’t worth it.

·         Blog more regularly, my blog sort of took a backseat last year due to Uni and work however; I want to post a lot more this year.

I kept it so short this year, as last year I set too many unrealistic goals.

I hope that 2016 is beautiful for you all.

Best Beauty Products of 2015

Well, here we are, at the end of another year! I feel as though this year I have come so far with my makeup skills. I’m not sure why I started this blog at the very beginning of my makeup addiction-and actually wrote posts about makeup. I did not know a damn thing! I am glad to see how far I have come though, just a reminder that we weren’t all born as mini Jaclyn Hill’s (big love girl).

I really wanted to do a post of my top beauty products of 2015. Now, this is necessarily products that came out in 205, rather products I purchased or first tried in 2015.

Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palettes

These palettes really got me into eyeshadow. Perfect for beginners as they’re easy to blend, and can achieve a range of different looks.

Loreal Brow Plumper & ELF Eyebrow Kit

I can’t believe I was ever someone who didn’t do their brows: crazy! These two products are the bomb diggity, I speak about them so often.

Sleek Contour Kit & ELF Gotta Glow

These are both incredible and super affordable! If you’re from Australia, you can buy Sleek on ebay! I got the ELF highlighter from iHerb!

Covergirl Ready Set Gorgeous Foundation

This foundation is so good, especially for a lightweight everyday foundation that easy to blend. I use this every day at work.

Jordana Blush in Coral Sandy Beach

The pigmentation on this blush is insane! Easy to blend out too, in case you want a lighter look. I bought this in NZ but you can find them on Beauty Joint.

MAC Painterly Paint Pot

This changed the game for me: my eyeshadow does not smudge and is so much more pigmented. This is a must have for everyone!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

I cannot say enough good things about this: so fricking good! Worth $50, yet is only $15: what more can I say??

Mascaras

I have quite long lashes already, yet I cannot leave the house without mascara. I like HUGE lashes with length and thickness and both these mascaras provide that.

Maybelline Lash Sensational is the best drugstore mascara that I have ever found! It gives really big, semi-clumpy but not in a bad way. You can get this everywhere!

Jordana Best Lash Extreme is another great one! Lauren Curtis always uses this and I can see why! It makes your eye look longer which I love! You can get this from BeautyJoint.

Face of Australia Liquid Liner

Ahhhh! This liner is so fab! I love liquid liner and find it so easy to use! It looks so much better than anything eles,e super opaque and stays on all damn night.

Australis Cya Later Pores Primer

I use this primer everyday on my T-zone, im not sure as I don’t have Benefit Porefessional but I think it could be a nice dupe.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Collection | 12 Days of Xmas

Maybelline is a huge brand, and have a lot of hits. I will do a full post of Maybelline soon, but today I thought I would show you one my absolute faves from them, their Colour Tattoos.
