Everyday School Makeup Rountine

Hello everybody! As I still go to school (only a couple of weeks left), and my school does not condone obvious makeup, I thought I would show you my everyday school makeup routine.

This is a natural makeup look, which may seem boring but I quite like it as no one notices I’m wearing makeup (which excuses me from judgey girls), and I can still feel comfortable.

Base:

The base is always extremely important to me, I love concealers and I think when a base is flawless (but not actually flawless as that is impossible), everything else falls into place.

I begin with a primer, which helps my makeup last the entire day. I have recently really been enjoying my Rimmel Fix & Perfect primer. I love how this sits on my face.

Next I do my foundation. Depending on what type of skin day I’m having, recently I have been using either use the Revlon Colourstay Foundation or The Body Shop’s Tea Tree BB Cream. I adore both of these.

Now my favourite, concealer! I have quite a big collection (maybe a future post?) but my favourite at the moment, especially for undereye circles is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind, the only problem with this is that it has a sponge applicator at the end. I usually just squeeze out the product as I don’t like the sponge.

For blush, I like a natural pinkish shade, this Australis blush in Rosy Cheeks, it’s such a gorgeous shade. For bronzing I use The Body Shop’s Honey Bronzer in 01. This has a pink undertone in it which compliments the blush well. I don't contour for school as I don't feel it's appropriate.

I always powder, and depending if I feel as though I need to be mattified, I will use Rimmel Stay Matte, otherwise if I decide I need extra coverage I will use Covergirl Advanced Radiance in 110.

Eyes:

I would love it if I could wear eyeliner, unfortunately my school doesn’t allow it so I just have to stick with mascara. I use the Rimmel Wonderfull, which feels great on my lashes.

Lips:

A basic chapstick is what I need everyday to keep my lips nice and moisturized throughout the day.

Well, that’s my basic everyday school makeup look. School is nearly finished, which I am very excited about but also kind of nervous.

I hope you have a nice day/night! x

Brisbane/Sunshine Coast Haul

Hello y’all!

Last week I went away down south. I visited: Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast! Because these are quite big cities, I went shopping! I actually didn’t buy much, surprisingly, but I did buy a little. I wanted to buy something from MAC but my friend stopped me but I kind of wished I had, and also glad I didn’t. (PS: if you had to own only one MAC lipstick which colour would you pick?)

Well, here’s what I bought:

My first purchase was from Rubi Shoes, which I want them to open in my town! Their shoes were adorable! I also am in love with their bags, as I love things like this! I bought two pairs, these adorable platforms which I have been wanting for awhile, and these bargain boots. The platforms were $25 (2 for $50, the other pair I bought for my sister), and the boots were $15!! I was so excited to see them especially as they were the last ones in my size!

Next I went into Factorie, where I bought 2 flower crowns. I’ve never really thought the flower crown phase was anything great but I thought these looked so adorable that I could resist!

That’s all I bought the first day, however the net day we went into Brisbane and visited Queen Street mall. Well, I went into chicabooti, and although their clothes were adorable I think they’re more suited for smaller people. I ended up buying only one thing, this top which has a cut out mesh line down the bottom.

Next stop was Valleygirl, although I have this store in my town, our store is nowhere near as huge as this store was! I ended up buying 3 things, this lacy black shirt, this also black dress, and this coral peplum.

My friend was extremely excited to find Lush, we were looking on this map (which we actually got very confused by, but it was very confusing), we ended up walking in one direction and I was like “where the hell is it?” and suddenly we were outside and my friend pointed out that we were standing right next to it. I was so excited, and our excitement grew as we stumbled around the store smelling literally everything. However, I only bought two things, the very much raved about, bubblegum lip scrub, and the twilight bath bomb (which was incredible).

Last, but definitely not least I went to Topshop! The store was huge but I only bought two things, a lipstick in Charmed, and this gorgeous pink blush in Good Girl. I’m kind of having withdrawals and want to go back there to buy all their makeup.

Well, there you go. My Brisbane Haul is over! I’m sure there will be more hauls soon, especially as I’m going to Melbourne in March next year!

Until next time, ciao!

Travel Makeup Bag

Hello, so this week ahead, I am travelling down south to go to a concert and go shopping with one of my best friends. I’ll be gone for 4 days and decided I wanted to show you what’s in my travel makeup.

I always over pack, it’s dumb and you would think I would pack less and learn from my lesson, but no. so yes, I am aware I could’ve cut this in half.

All About That Base

I’m sorry for that terrible pun, I am. I don’t know about you but my favourite products are base products, I have packed a daytime foundation, Rimmel Match Perfection, and a night time foundation, Loreal True Match. You could say, this is a MATCH made in heaven? (I am sorry, I truly am!). I am a concealer addict so lowering me down to 4 is actually quite a big deal. The one I chose were: Revlon Colourstay, Maybelline Dream Lumi, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind, and Rimmel Wake Me Up.

Basics

For primers, I opted for one for brightening, Models Prefer Liquid Light, and one for everyday, Rimmel Fix & Perfect. As for powder, I chose two, Maybelline Matte Maker for shine control and Covergirl Advanced Radiance if I’m in need of extra coverage.

Colour

I may have gone a little overboard with blush, I selected this Australis blush in Rosy Cheeks, this Face of Australia duo blush, and an Elf blush in Twinkled Pink. I, surprisingly only took one bronzer which is The Body Shop’s Honey Bronzer.

Eyes

I only took two eyeliners, a kohl liner, Maybelline Colourstay, and a liquid which is Maybelline Master Precise. I don’t usually do much to my eyebrows except fill in when they’re looking sparse, with Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil. I packed 3 mascaras, Rimmel Waterproof, Rimmel Lash Accelerator and Rimmel Wonderfull.

Lips

It took me so long to decide what lip colours to pack but in the end I decided on; Rimmel Kate Moss 103, Revlon Colourburst in Elusive, a chapstick, Revlon 420, Rimmel Kate Moss in 107.

Extras

Here are a couple of extras that don’t really fit into any category. VO5 Give Me Texture, Nivea Moisturizer, cotton pads, Witch Hazel Toner.

Well, that’s all that I could fit into my makeup bag, hopefully my next post up will all be about my time away and then after that, a haul!

Sukin Foaming Facial Cleanser | REVIEW

I have decided to start reviewing things more on here. I have quite a few products that I love a lot, which I would enjoy talking about!

Today I decided to start with a skincare product!

Sukin Foaming Facial Cleanser

I actually really do like this product. It reminds me of my childhood as it kind of smells like the manufactured orange taste, which when I was younger I ate so many of those orange flavoured vitamin C’s.

As the cleanser goes, its feels so nice on the skin, unfortunately I suffer with quite bad acne, which means I can’t exactly just have a cleanser (unless I’m having a good skin day). It foams really easily, which I love. After using this product your skin feels insanely soft! In fact, you could easily skip a moisturizer after using it!

Overall, I would recommend this product if you need an everyday cleanser that isn't expensive! I need to try more Sukin products, as this is the only one I have!

Have a good day-see you tomorrow!

September Favourites

Yay! It’s September favourite’s time!

This month I have “held-back” on buying so many new things. (I say that extremely loosely.) This means that I’ve had a lot favourites as I’ve been attempting to use up products. Let’s get into it!

Maybelline Colour Tattoos

I hate admitting this, but I’m not big on eyeshadow. I hate doing it and whenever I do, it always seems to look terrible. However, in pricelines 50% of Maybelline sale, I decided to pick up two of the highly raved about colour tattoos. These are cream shadows and are so easy to apply! The colours I bought were Bad To The Bronze and Inked In Pink. These are both so beautiful, and I definitely think I need to buy more.

V05 Give Me Texture

I’m awful with hair. I have next-to-no patience which means I usually leave my hair out, in a ponytail or in a messy bun. This spray however, has made me want to do way more hairstyles. It’s so refresh and is a definite repurchase.

Revlon Colourstay Concealer

I love the colourstay foundation and thought it is only right to buy the concealer! Although I don’t love it as much as the foundation, it is still one of my new favourites. I love it for concealing blemishes/acne (something I have a LOT of).

The Body Shop Tea Tree BB Cream

Holy grail! I am in love with this BB cream. I am also in love with The Body Shop (seriously, I could spend my life there). Tea Tree oil is fantastic for acne, and with this BB cream, I find I don’t even need to use a concealer!

Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer

I picked this up as it was at kmart for $5. It is AMAZING! I have not yet found a primer that I can 100% say I love, but this one comes so close. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Rimmel Wonderfull Mascara

THIS ALL NEEDS TO BE IN CAPS BECAUSE THIS MASCARA GETS ME SO EXCITED IT IS SO WONDERFUL PUN DEFINITELY INTENDED BUT SERIOUSLY EVERYONE NEEDS TO HAVE THIS MASCARA IN THEIR MAKEUP COLLECTION. IT’S MADE WITH ARGON OIL WHICH IS GREAT FOR YOU LASHES. IT VOLUMISES, LENGTHENS AND THICKENS AND ISNT CLUMPY!

Eyelash Curler

I’ve had this for about 5 months, and tried it once (didn’t press hard enough), however, I thought I’d retry it and I am addicted! Even on makeup-free days, I still curly my lashes. I find they become separated and so nice once I curl them.

Eyebrow Pencils

Cannot express my love in words for how much I love my eyebrow when I fill them in. They just looked neater, and make me feel confident. One pet hate I have, is the colour range eyebrow things are. My eyebrows are black, yet most of the colour ranges only go to brown.

Well, apart from these makeup items, food-wise I have been loving Indian food (the amount I have consumed this month is insane!). As well as this, I have really been getting into water-drinking. It sounds weird but I have never been a huge water drinker but I have really been making myself get into it. My skin feels so much better and so do my insides!

Well, I apologise for how excited I got. I’m just feeling very happy (and also you need to get the mascara). Hope you’re all well, see you next time! (Not technically, since, you know, I can’t see you).
