Hello all! Today
I decided to do a baking post.
Firstly, I am
such a bad cook; I don’t know why I just cannot do it. So when I made these
shortbread’s earlier today I was extremely pleased with how well they turned
out and thought I’d share them.
Ingredients:
150g plain flour
100g butter
50 sugar
Vanilla
Method:
1.
Cube
butter and rub flour in until they together resemble crumbs
2. Add sugar and vanilla and fold
together to form a fairly firm dough
3. Wrap in plastic (cling film) and
rest in the fridge for 20 minutes
4. Once the 20 minutes is up, preheat
oven to 180oC
5. Roll out dough and cut desired
shapes placing them on a baking tray
6. Bake for approximately 20 minutes
Your
shortbreads should resemble something like this.
