My Current Beauty Favourites

Hello everyone!

So last year I did monthly favourites, I really struggled to choose enough favourites, especially when I didn’t buy anything new. This year I decided to avoid repeating myself by doing quarter yearly favourites (does that make sense?). Every three months I’ll do a “current favourites”.

In the past 3 months, I feel as though I have upped my makeup game so much-if I do say so myself. I now contour every day, my brows have never been more on fleek, and my eyeshadow is banging. This is due to me watching so much more YouTube, and listening to the tips makeup artists say.

Anyway, let’s go on with the favourites;

Simple Kind to Skin Moisturizer

Not going to lie, but I never used to moisturize at night. Now I have a consistent night time skincare routine. This moisturizer is bomb and is super affordable!

Model Co Face Base Primer

This primer is incredible! It has a silicon feel to it which really makes my base stay put all day. It also smooths out my skin which makes it so much easier to apply foundation.

Restylane Recover Cream

I picked this up at Priceline on sale one day and it has worked so well on my skin! I apply a drop over red pimples at night, and when I wake they haven’t disappeared but they will diminish quite a bit.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3in1 Foundation

This foundation is so amazing! I wish it came in a little bit of a lighter colour but this is the best foundation I have ever tried! It builds well and stays in place all day. There’s honestly no other foundation that compares in my opinion.

Nars Laguna Bronzer

This bronzer is magical, I can be used to lightly bronze your skin, or be used as a contour. It blends out well if you want a sheer contour and can also build up to be darker.

Chichi Cosmetics Spices Eyeshadow Palette

All these shades are perfect for a warm toned eye look, which is what I mostly go for. Perfect in the crease or all over the lid. I’ve noticed how this palette is quite a bit more pigmented than past Chichi palettes, which is also a bonus. I think everyone needs this palette in their lives.

Stila Eyes are the Window Palette in Spirit

I’ve done a full swatch of this palette in another post, however I just want to talk about the first shade ‘kitten’. A makeup look is not complete without this in my inner corner, it stays there all day and is the perfect highlight!

Real Techniques Bold Metals Contour Brush

Did I fool you? Yep this is fake, from eBay, however; this brush is son dense and really achieved a perfect looking contour. You can buy the set here.

L’Oreal Super Liner

I have had such a struggle with eyeliners, I can never seem to find one that is perfect, yet this one is! It’s so easy to achieve a perfect look every time.

Original Beauty Blender

Last year I wrote a post comparing this to the Chichi one, and I said how they were both almost the exact same. They’re not. The beauty blender is so much different to every single other sponge I’ve ever used and I can’t quite explain it. I do know this: I use this every single day now, nothing applies as perfect looking. Now when I go back to using a brush-I notice lines and even if I blend out for 20 minutes, it doesn’t look as natural or perfect as with the beauty blender.

Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette

I love the first shade Lucid underneath my eyes to set. This really stops my concealer from creasing and brightens dark circles. These powders are so fine, they never look cakey.

There you have it! These are my current favourites and I do hope you try out some of these products because they are so worth it!
