Striped Button Down | Ways to Wear

Hey guys!

I bought this striped button down shirt last year and I made some outfit ideas to go with it. This is quite a vibrant shirt (for me at least) so all outfits are styled in an easy to wear way.

I hope you like these ‘ways to wear’ posts as much as I love writing them.

Why Women Shouldn't be Compared in Everyday Life

Women are often compared, not just in the media but in life.
I hate preaching about all the hardships of women, as I believe everyone has hardships-despite your gender. (Of course, race is important too-always.)

Today, I just want to talk about women, and how we’re compared to other women. I’m not sure why, but the media portrays women to be these type of people who want to be better than every other women, rather than being better than their old selves.

The Kardashians are the most famous people in the world at the moment (probably), I do love them and follow them on their social media. It’s hard to see comments on Twitter and Instagram; however, when it comes to Facebook I constantly see people commenting ‘which Kardashian is better’.

Now here’s the thing, these girls are sisters. They love and support each other and should not be in competition with each other. There is no, ‘Kourtney is the best Kardashian!’ Let’s stop doing that.

I’m a huge fan of the YouTube show; Just Between Us, they address this issue in one of their episodes.

In it they discuss how they’re a comedy duo and how they’re sick of people comparing them. They’re a team! There’s no ‘Allison’s funnier!’, ‘Gaby’s hotter’. They just are. There’s no comparison as they are partners.

All in all, what I’m trying to say is that we need to destroy the barriers that say women are enemies, lets unite and be friends!

Last year I saw this tweet, and ever since then I think about it every time I meet a new women. I’m not perfect, far from it, but I believe if we bond together one day there won’t be any “cat fights”.

Some words to think about xx

SAG Awards Fashion | Top 10 Outfits

The SAG awards have just happened and I am in shock with how much I love some of the outfits! I thought I would show my top ten looks! PS: #SAGAwardsSoDiverse

10: Laura Prepon

I love this white gown! I think it is so simple yet, she slays it. The tighter waist, really pulls this dress together.

9: Kate Winslet

I just did a quick google search and this is a 40 y/o woman. If I look this good at 30 I’d be crying! This compliments her figure perfectly.

8: Emily Robinson

A bright colour is hard to rock but Emily kills it! The lower cleavage looks perfect and I just love this!

7: Sofia Vergara

Sofia could literally wear a mouldy doritos wrapper and I would be like YAAASSS KWEEN WORK IT!!

6: Joey King

I had no clue who this was (apparently she was on ramona and beezus?) but this outfit is slaying!

5: Emilia Clarke

This is such a unique dress, the high neck combined with the colour, the flared bottom and the front design. I love how this looks on her.

4: Kunal Nayyar

Kunal looks so hot and this suit looks fwoaah. Too much for me to handle! I love it!

3: Anna Faris

Woaah! I’m in awe of this high necked dress! It looks super stunning and the colour is incredible! The slit just pulls this entire look together.

2: Rachel McAdams

Holy shit this girl looks so bloody good and her dress is just fantastic! Looks perfect on her-as she usually does!

1: Kiernan Shipka

Ahhhh! I need this dress asap she looks absolutely stunning! The colours are incredible and the pattern and material is so original and I just love it so much! PS: it has pockets ???!!!
