Valentine's Day Date Ideas

Awh! Sorry, it felt appropriate with Valentine’s Day approaching at rapid speed. For me, the concept of Valentine’s Day is unnecessary. You exchange gifts with someone and one person’s gift is always better, “signifying” that they love the person more. Dumb, in my eyes. I find it difficult to buy for anyone, let alone someone who I want to make happy constantly so finding a “perfect gift” is always hard.

Instead of gifts, couples should try and give a date to the other. What I mean is, on Valentine’s Day, instead of giving the other some flowers that will die, or chocolate that will be devoured, give a memory. Here are a few ideas for some extra special time you two could spend together, on Valentine’s Day, or any other for that matter.

For The Competitive Couple
Everything is a fight, its fair game and you both kind of know you boundaries and that’s what makes you so great. This V Day, how about make a triathlon! No don’t click away yet! What I mean is, you can compete in three different things! It can be anything from an eating competition, to whoever can balance the most spoons on your face. You’ll both end up laugh your heads off.

For The Outdoorsy Couple
Head to the beach! Rent a boat (or maybe a beachside cabin) and enjoy each other’s company whilst clearing your head from your stresses such as work. Getting away is a hard thing for couples to make time for when their schedules are so busy so make the effort! Buy or rent some snorkels and explore the sea, you might discover an unknown hobby while you’re at it!

For The “Once In A Lifetime” Couple
If you want to feel like you’re royalty for one night, hire an expensive car that comes with a chauffeur and drive around, sipping fine wine and laughing at things to yourselves. You could even take the extra step, and get dressed up. It’s so lovely to see someone get dressed up, just for you!

For The Indoorsy Couple
Plan a board game night! Buy a few of your fave board games and spend the night laughing at your loved one making hilarious faces during charades. It’s so refreshing to put down your social media and just enjoy each other’s company, no distractions.

For The Romantic Couple
Pack up a picnic and drive to a secluded area where you can eat, and eventually watch the stars. This is the perfect way to spend some one-on-one time with them. Stargazing is enjoyable, especially if shared with the right person!

Well, that’s my Valentine’s Day date ideas! Hope you enjoyed it, or it gave you an idea of how to spend Valentine’s Day!

Have a wonderful day xxx
