You know when you’re
really hungry but you don’t want to eat unhealthy, don’t have the skills to
cook a masterpiece, and can’t spare the money to go somewhere for lunch? Well this
is a daily dilemma when you’re me. Since I experience this so often, I have had
to discover ways to avoid it.
So here, is my recipe a
healthy, quick and easy lunch idea!
(PS: I am not a health
expert, in fact this meal isn’t even that healthy. I’m just saying it’s
healthier than getting maccas.) (“maccas” is the Australian word for McDonalds.)
Healthyish Pasta Salad
Ingredients:

1 Cup Pasta
·
Handful of
bacon/ham
·
Handful of peas
·
Handful of corn
·
Ranch dressing
Method:
1.
Boil water.
2.
Add pasta into
water, mixing ever so often to avoid pasta sticking together.
3.
Microwave extra
ingredients until hot.
4.
Once pasta is
cooked, drain out excess water and add pasta to a bowl.
5.
Add extra
ingredients to bowl and mix together.
6.
Add in dressing
into pasta mix and stir.
7.
Congrats. You are
grade 10 masterchef.
You can even make this the
night before and eat it cold. I know this seems like such a simple meal, but
sometimes even though something is simple, it isn’t always thought of.
