VMAs 2014 Outfits | REVIEW

The VMA’s (MTV Video Music Awards) occurred on the 24^th. As this was an awards show, there were a heap of different fashions from all the celebrities. I decided to do a little review of some of the females.

Lucy Hale

Lucy looks stunning in this grandma-chic skirt and halter duo. Although I love the halter I don’t particularly like the skirt (for myself at least), nonetheless she always look beautiful and today was no different.

Kesha Rose

She always looks so good. Kesha is one of those people that look fresh faced and lovely. She is sporting this gorgeous white dress which extenuates her hips.

Ariana Grande

Ariana has gone for a “rocker/biker girl” look and although im not too sure if it’s award show ready, I think she is brave for wearing it. And of course she’s wearing red lips, which to me, signifies that she could cut you. (Not literally. Maybe? No, I do not condone attack other people. Physically or mentally.)

Nicki Minaj

This dress is a one patterned look and Nicki wears it so well. I actually really like this on her but wouldn’t wear it myself as I’m scared of wearing anything that’s not black.

Christina Aguilera

Making a statement. This two piece suit make Christina look flawless (not that she didn’t already)!

Miley Cyrus

 Miley looks stunning in this Bad-Sandy from Grease styled outfit. Her pixi cut looks super adorable on her. Although I may be slightly biased as I love Miley, I think anything she wears she rocks but this outfit especially is amazing on her!

OOTN | #1

Hello! Sorry for being a tad MIA, I just haven’t been feeling my best and wasn’t up to writing any post. Hopefully blogging will continue soon, as I do love it a lot.

Last weekend, I went out; a very rare occurrence for me as I will usually pass out at around 9 o’clock. Where I was going required semi-dressed up attire.

I opted for this square shirt style dress which I recently purchased from valleygirl. It has a wannabe aztec print (my description of course). I styled it with these black boots which have a small heel. These add a sort of died-down classy look. They’re also extremely comfortable.

I wore a small gold necklace which was mid length with this, as I didn’t want to overpower the colour of the dress with overly obvious jewellery.

I quite liked doing this OOTN (outfit of the night) and will probably do more sometime soon!

Rimmel X Kate Moss Lipsticks

Hello all! I love drugstore makeup. Given, I don’t own anything other, but I do love it. With drugstore makeup, I find, some things are absolute gems whereas others just don’t work.

Rimmel is a popular drugstore makeup brand. I love it, I own plenty of their products, but my absolute favourites are their Kate Moss lipsticks. I own 5 of these I cannot rave about the enough, they are long lasting, the colours are fantastic, and they’re so cheap!

July has ended which means it’s my favourites of the month time!

Models Prefer Liquid Light Primer

The best primer I’ve tried. I brightens my face whilst providing a good layer between my face and foundation. I have been using this almost every day recently!

Revlon Colourstay Foundation

The coverage of this foundation is amazing! I have been having quite a breakout recently and this has worked miracles to cover it.

Australis Blush-Rosy Cheeks

This blush was so cheap and provided such a lovely shade to my cheeks. I’m not too sure but I think it’s an older blush and I’m not too sure if they still stock it as I bought it on an end of life sale. I must find it somewhere and stock up.

Australis Fresh and Flawless Powder

I had been on the search for the perfect powder and had seen so many Australian Bloggers raving about this so I thought I’d give it a go, especially for the price. I have no words for how fantastic this is-everyone must try it!

Garnier Pore Refining Toner

I have been changing up my makeup routine immensely this month, and this toner has been used every single day.

Ross and Rachel: On a Break or Not?

Ross and Rachel: on a break or not?

Everyone who has ever loved FRIENDS knows of the dreaded “break” situation. FRIENDS is my absolute favourite television show in the entire world, I watch it literally everyday. Here are my views.

PS: A lot of spoilers are given and even though I’m sure mostly everyone has heard of FRIENDS I know there are still people watching it.

In sort, yes, they were on a break. After their fight Rachel states: ugh I just think we should take a break!” Yes she suggests it. Ross, being Ross says “fine, lets go get some frozen yoghurt or something?” and then Rachel says “no…I mean a break from us…” Sad music begins playing and Ross looks at her before leaving.(A/N: I don’t actually know the correct quotes I’m just taking this from my mind, I could google the direct quotes but instead lets just roll with it). They never state the consequences/boundaries of their break. In my opinion, before doing this, the general rules of breaks are as follows: no dating other people, no sleeping with other people, and possibly some timeframe of when you’ll re-think the relationship, ie. 3 weeks.

Yet, Ross didn’t wait at all he just slept with the first person who came along. Ross did this mostly because he was hurt and confused. He thought Rachel was with Mark, although that doesn’t give him an excuse. Ross should’ve told Rachel straightaway when he saw her again the next day.

When Rachel and Ross are getting back together down at the beach, Rachel writes the letter to Ross asking him to take the blame for everything that went wrong. This is a tag against Rachel as she still was part of the reason why they split up.

All in all, both parties caused their inevitable break up. But, to answer the question: were they on a break? Yes. They were on a break, not a break-up, they were just simply on a break.
